Notes To Self yall!!
Here is a little blurb from NTS of how the video came to be…
Here’s a proven fact: Kids are hilarious. Absolutely. Hilarious. So when my little sister’s teacher asked me to be a guest reader to her fourth grade class, I was in from the jump. I signed in at the office, filled out my nametag and called Bronze about grabbing some Pho when I was done. We’d been spit balling ideas for a new Sky Light treatment but nothing seemed to be sticking lately. Two Robert Munsch books later, I knew these kids had magic written all over ’em. Riding high off secret handshakes and fart jokes, I met Bronze down the street and we hit the ground running, vibing out like we used to when we were little kids growing up together. A couple coconut milkshakes later and we knew exactly where this video was going. Scribbled out across the tablecloth, it was clear this was a gift from the cosmos.

Everybody was in, all 28 of us. With a month left ’till summer break, it was crunch time in the lunch line. After some heavy fly girl research with our good friend Caitriona and some solid two stepping over the weeks that followed, we had it locked and ready to ride.

Cut to the last day of school. A ferryboat to freedom. Notes playing chaperone. Humid as a mother out. Ragweed in full bloom. Socks and shoes off. A whole lot of Parachute, followed by some Cat and Mouse. Man Hunt in the mega maze. SKY LIGHT ALL DAY.

Kab Love at it again with W a v e. Kab Loves kills the beat, Joey Badass came out with it before, and Kab does it just as good as him or better. We will leave that up to you to decide.
Take in the track and Kabs Thght Process interview below.
enjoy.

UTW- Who are you?
Kab Love- I’m kab love aka kab aka killa kab lol

UTW- What is your passion?
Kab Love- My passion is to make music that can be listened to years from now and still have the same effect as when you first heard it and know that its from the heart music, I just try to make whatever I feel I’m supposed to make whether it be a track sampling some old curtis mayfield or david ruffin or some new trunk shaking lex luger type beat. I always make what sounds good to me and what my mind and heart tells me to make. Sounds corny I know but thats just the way I do things.

UTW- What’s your biggest accomplishment to date?
Kab Love- My biggest accomplishment would probably be making and releasing my very first mixtape by myself in the tenth grade. A Different World, was me fully going into the hip hop game full speed and deciding it was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. It was a huge deal to me because I made everything myself. All recorded in my room with a apex 181 usb mic by me, all the artwork and most of the beats. The fact that I had a full project released independently that early was big. It felt great and still does.

UTW- Perseverance is key in proving to yourself AND any detractors out there. We tell em’ “You thought wrong” what else would you like to say to any doubters right now?
Kab Love- I’d simply tell the doubters to just stay tuned. If you don’t like what you hear right now you will eventually like something I’m going to make. At least I hope so. And if you choose not to listen at all then I would say that your missing out.

UTW- Thanks for everything, where can people find your work and get in contact with you?

We have our first video interview with the amazing Shah of 3Shahs Jewelry.

3SHAHS is a Canadian jewellery line created and designed by Shah Emily Noaman. Since its launch in 2000, 3SHAHS has been featured in magazines and fashion shows across the country and collected by fans worldwide. The “3” represents the trinity of Shah, her mother, and her sister, and in the Persian language, the word, ‘Shah’ translates to ‘King’. “Who said women can’t be kings? I believe in equality among everyone,” says Shah for those wondering about the name of her line.

We did the interview at her store Bask Boutique, where you can find her awesome jewelry. You can also visit her site at www.3shahs.com
Please take some time to visit her, and check out UThghtWrng’s first video interview of our Thght Process Q & A below.
Enjoy.

UTW-Who are you?
3SHAHS-I am a witty woman with a height complex (I feel as though I am VERY tall). I am everyday people…with a strong passion & ambition for life and all it has available for us to achieve. I am also an artist and a businesswoman.

UTW-What is your passion?
3SHAHS-Living an optimistic life, regardless of circumstances. Loving the people of our world, especially my family & sweet friends. Being grateful and connected with the beauty of our world…colours, nature, architecture, culture, and emotion. Oh and laughing…a lot, life is simple if we let it.

UTW-What’s your biggest accomplishment to date?
3SHAHS-Abundant love I have in my life, continuous self-development and being a person with integrity and of action.

UTW-Perseverance is key in proving to yourself AND any detractors out there. We tell em’ “You thought wrong” what else would you like to say to any doubters right now?
3SHAHS-Perseverance is definitely essential to be successful, as great things often do not occur overnight. Believing yourself is the key to life and true self-fulfillment. As human beings we can experience doubt and fear. I am no exception. However, while opening my businesses and developing my 3SHAHS brand in the past 12+ years, I had to tell fear to take a backseat so I can be in action. Never let fear stop you. It is also important to surround yourself with supportive and positive people.

UTW-Thanks for everything, where can people find your work and get in contact with you?
3SHAHS-It is my pleasure to be interviewed by such an ambitions and kind person, so thank YOU J. With the launch of my e-commerce site and international shipping service, people are now able to conveniently shop online at 3shahs.com or the flagship store ‘Bask Boutique’ which is located at 1365 Yonge Street, just south of St. Clair.

But, we want him to be telling them, U THGHT WRNG. so the time is now.
Please get to know Kab Love better with our THGHT Proecess interview, and take in his track, which he also produced.
